Knit Blanket

Even if you know how to do it, making a knit blanket can take a lot of time. But knitters insist that the process can develop into a pleasant rhythm, and you can do it while you listen to the radio or watch television, or just while you sit outside.

Generally, once you get the hang of it, following a pattern is not too difficult—though it is very time consuming. Thus, it might be more manageable to knit a smaller blanket. That way you can provide a personalized look and theme without having to spend months and months making it.

A knit blanket can make an excellent baby blanket. Babies are smaller, so don’t need as large a blanket, and this way you can design it according to a particular theme for a baby shower, if you so choose. It is also possible to buy a knit blanket from a market or store—even if the blanket wasn’t knitted by you, there is a lot to be said for the benefits of a blanket knit by hand.
